Christine and Andrew vanhoe met 25 years ago while working at Jewel. She worked in the bakery and he was training for management. Two years later they married. Andrew worked hard so Christine could stay home with the kids. Christine would do cakes out of her house for friends and family. When the kids were older Christine was driving by the bakery when she saw a help wanted sign. For some reason she felt such a pull to go in and apply. She did and she got the part time job. After working for a few months she decided this is what she wanted to do with her life. She went home and talked it over with Andrew and when she went in to work the next day she told the previous owners “ if you ever want to sell just let me know “. And they replied “ well actually we do ! It took a few years to make it happen but eventually it did and they have never looked back. It has become a family hub with both kids and grandkids always around.
